Not all casting turn out like the one with Katka, she needed money, had a fantasy of seducing a pornographer to get work and had been thinking of sex with a girl for a long time. Probably ovulating as well and we just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Not always that easy or fun. After 40 years there has been hundred or casting, thousands of girls and too many stories to remember. And tomorrow will be the same. Producing porn is a never ending treadmill, demand has never been higher and the supply of girls willing never better.
Nothing like it was back in 1968 when I was unwittingly introduced to porn. I was 18 and had decided to quit my job as a pattern maker and designer in the rag trade, clothing industry, to hitch hike around Europe. Like most decisions I made it on impulse, my holiday plans were to go to Clacton on Sea with some work mates and spend two weeks in Butlins Holiday Camp. My brother who was a student and always penniless was hitch hiking with a friend to Rome which seemed a better destination than Clacton. So I bought a rucksack, sleeping bag and tent and set out on my own. We missed each other completely and after 4 weeks in Rome I decided it was time to go home via Amsterdam.
Amsterdam in the late 60s was a Mecca for hippies, travelers and anyone who wanted a good time. It was also home to an emerging porn industry. It was here I met a film producer who offered me a bit part in a movie he was making. I was to dress up as a Viking and charge around with a few others as extras. It paid $8 a day. Not too bad for 1968.
